Are you looking to become more active within the TEI community? Do you have an interest in helping to shape the technologies our community uses for preserving, publishing, and researching the TEI? Consider nominating yourself, or an interested colleague, for a position on the TAPAS Advisory Board!
In conjunction with the TEI-C call for nominations for positions on the Technical Council and TEI-C Board, TAPAS is seeking nominations for 4 open positions on its Advisory Board. Nominations need to be submitted to the nomination committee at nominations@tei-c.org by September 20, 2015. We are seeking 4 members, 2 of whom will serve for 2 years and 2 for one year only to establish a rotation. The duration of the term will be determined by TAPAS in consultation with the elected members.
The TAPAS advisory board contributes to the strategic planning of TAPAS, and the elected members represent the needs and perspective of the TEI community. Advisory board members work via email correspondence and conference calls (currently 3 per year) and may be asked for advice and assistance with grant planning, collaborative alliances with other organizations, and outreach to the TEI community.
If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact us at info@tapasproject.org. To learn more about the TAPAS project, please visit http://tapasproject.org. Follow us at @tapas_project.
