My dear friend

Didn't you send enclosed by mistake? – Never mind – I'm a late "party". – Many thanks for the cheques. £15 – If you want receipts always send them to be signed

The Captain Hungerford M.S. manuscript won't do – I could hardly believe it came from Out of the Depths. – Will send all MSS manuscripts including Mr. Marston's back by the person who comes to pack the books on Thursday morning – or whenever you will appoint before then. – of Mr. Marston's novel I forgot to say that as "reader" (quite as conscientious of friend) – I give it hearty approval.

My Bahia letter today was so charming & comfortable that I feel gald to my heart's core – & thankful unutterably. – I have troubled Mr. Bowes to get some books for me to send out there & "Start an account" with me for the same. –

Ever sincerely yours DMulock –

Your dear folks would get my long letter this morning.
