15 December — Dear Mrs. Dixon,

The carriage — with Hermann — shall call for Alice at 1.30.P.M. tomorrow — to take her to my dress-maker at Beckenham — & wait while she has her new dress fitted — & bring her direct back. I shall be in town that day — but I have settled all. —

On Wednesday 22nd : — soon after 9 A.M. - she shall be fitted for her journey to Bath — if you will kindly pack her off — she ought to have all her winter clothes I think — as she will have to stay there five weeks. — I am sure I can quite rely that you will send her tidy & all right — you always do —

Ever yours truly DMCraik —
